These are the most amazing cookies evah!

1 cup butter, softened
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup old-fashioned oats
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
In a mixing bowl, cream butter, peanut butter and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine flour, oats, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in chips. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Looks like I am going to be baking something everyday for 3 days! :) Def. trying this!

P.S. do you have to add oats?
ReplyDeleteI've never tried to make them without oats, but I suppose you could try. Also the original recipe called for several different kinds of chocolate chips...you might try too that if you want.
