Something for your creative minds

I desperately needed a pair of new white flats, but I didn't want to spend the money on them. So I decided to take my old ones, which still fit, and give them a makeover! It was super quick and easy!

Start by covering the insides of your shoes with newspaper.

Then, spray paint! I did a coat of primer and then two coats of regular white spray paint. It's best to do several light coats, rather than trying to do it all at once and ending up with paint dripping all down the sides of your shoes.

Next cut out pieces of fabric to line the soles of your shoes. I made a paper temple first, by tracing the bottom of my shoe. Glue in place.(I either used fabric glue, or super glue...I don't remember! haha)

So there you have a fresh, bright, "new" pair of shoes!
